Project description:

Our agency has completely prepared and implemented Intranet system for Gdańsk Thermal Power Company (GPEC – Gdańskie Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej).

The Intranet Platform we delivered improves and reduces costs of formal and informal data distribution inside GPEC. The system is based on .NET technology and DotNetNuke platform. It has a modular structure – all the parts are gathered round the core of the system.
Particular modules are responsible for realization of tasks and functionalities regarding the following:

• databases,
• document libraries,
• document management systems,
• calendars,
• photo galleries,
• forum,
• project management systems,
• helpdesk management systems,
• systems supporting business activities, ex. recruitment, processing invoices etc.

From now on the employees are constantly able to check information regarding ex. their holidays or sick leaves not having to involve personnel department as it was before.

Beside enhancing the data flow, portal covers the social needs – using forum and company photo galleries.

By implementing the Intranet we helped to improve the efficiency of data exchange inside GPEC among over 500 employees.
