Project description:
For the company Bar2 with the headquarter in London, we designed the intranet-extranet system for the complex management and payroll company services.
Bar2 provides payroll services for many agencies in Great Britain. For the reason that a great amount of data are inserted and verified online, the system was made in the AJAX technology.
The project included the recognition of agency specificity and design of the system, which support the business activities in the key points.
The system allowed to achieve the competitive advantage through offering new services on the market, improvement of client service and automation of repetitive works in everyday business activities. A few solutions and systems was replaced by one advanced solution.
Functionality of implemented system:
- realization of company's business processes in one system through the website,
- automation of repetitive works in everyday business activities,
- separate access and functions for the workers of Bar2, external agencies and contracted workers,
- verification of internet forms online
- generating documents in the .xls and .pdf formats,
- payroll settlements
- integration with external systems: accounting and banking
- integration with ACT! CRM and SAGE Line 100,
- multilevel reporting,
- accordance with British law.
Effects of implementation:
- aggregation all activities of the company in one system,
- optimalization of business processes
- limit the amount of paper documents
- the possibility of serving the new services which may result in the increasing of company?s profit (30%) with decreasing of human resources (20%) within the time of implementation (4months).
